The Best time for trekking

If you are familiar with treks, you should know that the weather has a very big impact on how great a trek is going to be. You do not want a sudden heavy rain or heavy sun to spoil your trek. Besides, you’d want to go for a trek during the time when nature is at its peak. So it’s always essential to investigate the best months for visiting any trek.

When it comes to Kashmir Great Lake Trek, the best month to do this trek is July, August and September. To elaborate on this, Early July to Mid September. Unlike the neighbourhood, this is not the period of monsoon in Kashmir. So, you do not need to worry about heavy rains. Besides, this is when summer transitions into autumn. It is a very rare beauty to witness this change of season in small things in nature. The reason why the rest of the months aren’t suitable is because of the fact that the entire path will be buried under snow. It will be very difficult to navigate through the trek.

The Difficulty rank

Every trek is ranked between easy to difficult according to how hard or easy the trek is. This makes it easier for beginners and experts to see and choose which one is the best for them according to their needs. This trek is ranked as moderate to difficult in the chart of difficulty. This is obvious from the above mentioned. The route of this trek takes you through rough, untamed mountains. It is also through very steep climbs. This trek requires you to get fit for it especially. This trek is not advisable for beginners because of the high altitude and rugged route. Trekkers who love a rush of adrenaline should definitely add this trek to their bucket list.
