On that note, users can customize button functions, user interface options, and change the aforementioned wallpaper of the transmitter through the Saramonic app, which the company says provides them the ability to make the act of recording a more personal experience.

Saramonic says that the BlinkMe isn’t just for looks though, and the audio experience is also high-end. The microphone uses an “optimized” 2.4Ghz wireless transmission technology that the company says ensures a reliable and steady stream of audio even in environments with high levels of radio frequency activity.

“Additionally, BlinkMe comes with two transmitters, each of which boasts a 6mm high-end omnidirectional mic inside, perfect for multi-person interviews or small-scale studio operations.”

Saramonic rates the BlinkMe battery to last quite a while. It says that the transmitters are rated to last for up to nine hours while the receiver can stay on for up to 24 hours. Additionally, the receiver acts as a dock for the transmitters and can give them an additional 4.5 hours of battery life (which obviously takes away from the remaining battery life of the receiver in exchange).
